A majority of the classes are offered in the evening because the instructors and students tend to have day jobs. Some classes may be offered during the day and on weekends. Check with the current schedule to see if any are offered during the day.
Are TMEC classes offered online?
TMEC classes are not offered online at this time, but we are working on it. However, you may discuss distance learning with the instructor of the course that you desire to take to see if it would be practical for that particular class.
Why should I complete the mid-term and final course evaluations?
When you take a TMEC class, you will be asked to fill out course/instructor evaluations in the middle of the term and at the end. The evaluations are extremely important and can provide constructive feedback to the instructor, especially during the mid-term. Being thorough in your response to the evaluations will provide valuable information for the instructor and can make the classroom experience for you and your fellow students as meaningful and productive as possible.
How are class fees calculated?
They are calculated based on two factors:
· The class level (e.g., 100, 200, etc.)
· The number of hours the class is, based on a range (e.g., 9 – 15 hours, 18-27 hours, etc.)
For specific class fees, see the Upcoming Classes.
