Class Fees and Registration
The fee for each class is calculated based on two factors - The class level (e.g., 100, 200, etc.) and the number of classroom hours based on a range (e.g., 9 – 15 hours, 18-27 hours, etc.). For specific class fees, see Upcoming Classes.
Classes taken at The Mincks Educational Center have three fee levels:
Early Registration Fee – Must be paid in full two weeks prior to the start of the class. Students who also purchase their textbooks through The Mind Shop Bookstore two weeks in advance of the class receive 10% off the price of their books.
Regular Fee – A $50.00 deposit must be made at the time of registration and the balance due paid by the first class.
Deferred Payment – A $50.00 deposit must be made at the time of registration and the balance due paid in weekly payments as set forth in the particular class and within the designated timeframe for that class.
Deposit Refund – Of the $50 deposit, an administration fee of $15 is nonrefundable. The remaining $35 is refundable if the student withdraws from the class at least two days before it begins. After the class begins, the deposit is not refundable. If TMEC cancels the class, the student's deposit will be refunded in full or may be applied to another class.
