The purpose of this course is to introduce interested students to the professional studies, classes and
Professional Practitioner licensing process. Students explore, identify and clarify their "calling" to the
profession and have an opportunity to examine their personal commitment toward service as a Licensed Professional Religious Science Practitioner.

Prerequisite: SM302
This in-depth course is aimed at equipping individuals with the skills and abilities to answer the high calling of becoming a Licensed Professional Religious Science Practitioner. Through hands-on training, students experience the many and varied facets of Professional Practitioner work which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Becoming proficient in communication skills
  • Conducting client sessions
  • Offering on-the-spot verbal treatments
  • Writing and delivering meditations and Sunday Service
  • Creating and delivering Sunday Service Opening Prayers
  • Creating and presenting workshops
  • Being a Spiritual Presence for those facing illness or transition
  • Knowing more deeply that at the center of all is God
