WR113 - Ancient Mystical Writings
Six-week course introduces various ancient masterpieces, such as the Bhagavad Gita, Bhakti Sutras, and Yoga Sutras. Explore ancient teachings that can be used by anyone on a practical, day-to-day basis, or by yoga practitioners seeking liberation and enlightenment or special powers. The ancient mystical writings introduced in these courses teach the art of living in harmony with the Divine, demonstrate the various phases of spiritual practice (sadhana), and give us clues as to what can be expected as we progress.

Journeying into the Old Testament, this class offers deep insight into the story of the Israelites coming out of bondage, moving through the wilderness and crossing into the Promised Land. By metaphysically interpreting these events as well as the words of Moses and the training of Joshua, this class reveals the power of learning how to stand firm, how to let go, why to be obedient and how to meet whatever one is faced with.

Much is to be learned from the prophets of old. In this class, students look at the work done by Elijah, Elisha and others such as Hosea to see the practicality of their prophecies. WR228 Spiritual Powers of the Soul, Parts 1 and 2

One of the first actions Jesus took, upon coming into His ministry, was to call Twelve Disciples to Him. This represents, metaphysically, that as we come into higher awareness of who and what we are that we need to call on those mental faculties/spiritual powers at work in us, for us, with us and through us. This course is about how we identify, nurture and utilize these powers. The course is held in two six-week classes with study and a quickening meditation of one power each week.
